General Information

We are all small catteries and we breed to maintain the original superb Australian Mist temperament, whilst breeding championship lines. We all belong to our relevant National or State Registering Body.

All kittens are ready to go at 12 weeks of age. They are vaccinated, de-sexed, micro-chipped (in NSW) and wormed. All kittens are trained to the litter box and fully socialized. They are registered with the relevant body and come with a registered certificate of pedigree. Refer to individual breeders for kitten prices.

Australian Mist litters are usually sold out very quickly after birth and there may be a small waiting period for kittens which varies in length, depending on the time of year.  All breeders maintain a waiting list so contact the breeder nearest to you to put your name on their list.  As we are a small association we all sell each other’s kittens so you may find that you will be referred to another breeder who has or breeds the color/pattern of kitten you desire.

We would like you to indicate both colour and gender preferences and it is also a good idea to let us know which part of the country you are in.  Your home situation (for example do you have small children or other pets etc) will also give a good idea of what personality type of kitten would be most suitable for you.

You will be expected to pay a deposit of $100 to hold the kitten once it is offered to you. No kittens can be reserved without a deposit. To make it easier for those who cannot afford the required deposit, we partnered with several Canadian, USA and UK casinos to give them the possibility to earn it by using their luck. Meet them at https://5freespin.com/ and register to receive promotional free spins for all types of slots games. All breeders prefer that prospective buyers come and see the kitten but we recognize that this is difficult if you are buying from another state. When the kitten is approaching 12 weeks old you will be notified of when you can pick them up and then you will need to pay the balance. When you arrive to pick your kitten up please be prepared with a suitable carry-cage – loose kittens in cars are a traffic hazard, besides you will need the carry cage for the life of your cat to move it around to vets etc and, for that reason,  it is always best to buy a medium sized cage not a kitten cage.

All of the breeders on this list sell their kittens vaccinated, wormed, de-sexed, and with information on kitten care. NSW has compulsory micro-chipping and some breeders in other states microchip their kittens as well.

There are often older (rescue and ex-breeding) cats looking for a new home so you might like to check out our  older cats for adoption.

Breeding females and de-sexed show kittens are available from time to time and carry a premium in price. Sale of kittens for stud is by special arrangements only.
